Rounds 3 and 4 were at Brands Hatch. Had a right result on both races. I qualified on pole by less than a 10th of a second.

I led the race for 4 laps ish then in a very late braking move into the Druids hairpin Dick Trevvet snuck down the inside to take the lead. I stayed right behind him pushing him until we both started suffering with gone off tyres, I even tried a right ballsy move on him around the outside of paddock Hill Bend, scarey! eventually he ran slightly wide on Clearways letting me sneak past. I kept it clean and tidy for the next 5 or so laps to take the win just 4 10ths ahead and 3rd place man 1.9 seconds behind.

I am sure Alex and Nicky can expand on that as they watched the race. It was the race of my life, very clean and close!

Round 4 started from pole having won the first race, an MGF vvc jobby got a killer start from the fourth row taking the lead into turn 1, we both put a 75 yard lead on the pack until I took him on lap 2 leaving the rest to squeeze past him. driving as fast but as smooth as possible we struggled to stop the tyres going off and soon Trevvet was getting ever closer.

Sadly on lap 9 of 15 we saw a Metro on it's roof in the kitty litter off Paddock hill Bend and the safety car came out, we did 2 laps under the saftey car and the race was ended early with another win for me!

A a bonus I was awared "Driver of the day" to...

It was a fab day with loads of decent cars, Bill richards in his 8 porter kicking Evos and Cossies bottys. The Euroboss F1 cars were a nice bonus to.

Fabulous to see Lucy Ball, what a cracking little'un!! :)

Alex, que the pics...

It was amazingly close. We were stood up at Druids for Race1 and there were literally 6 inches distance between the cars at times - thrilling stuff.

Pics later.

By my unofficial workings out I am 4 points ahead in the championship but remember there are 3 classes. In the other 2 classes the winners also set the fastest lap gaining them an extra point. unfortunately I did not so lost a point scoring just 11 of a possible 12 per round.

Great pics Alex, that was Clearways?
