Does anyone run turbo without vents in the bonnet?
I seriously doubt it! |

should be fine dude, never run any in my current one. the only thing to worry about really is the heat soak after shut down, hot starts are a PITA sometimes. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

i run without vents on my daily drive. not a problem.

ive got a 1/2" prop on my bonnet and heat soaks a pig, leave it 20 mins and it splutters and tries to cut out for 3-4 mins.

I'm pretty sure that the Twin's don't have any vents / airholes.

I have no vents in the road car (and a totally standard 998 cooling system), never gets hot.

I don't know. There is something about cutting holes in panels, but bonnet vents are generally accepted.

In general you are allowed to cut holes for ventilation and ducting. I have a feeling that as the bonnet not part of the unitary construction that it is quite free anyway. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk
