should be fine dude, never run any in my current one. the only thing to worry about really is the heat soak after shut down, hot starts are a PITA sometimes.

I'm pretty sure that the Twin's don't have any vents / airholes.

I've heard rumors regrading what is and what isn't allowed vent wise whilst racing but I cant find anything in the Blue Book, can anyone help?

I have no vents in the road car (and a totally standard 998 cooling system), never gets hot.

The hillclimber does have two 50mm holes abouve the carb. they are purely to help cooling after a run.

Wil, is there a limit on the number of bonnet holes you can have on the hillclimber? or is it free?

I don't know. There is something about cutting holes in panels, but bonnet vents are generally accepted.

If I remember I'll look in the blue book later and check.

In general you are allowed to cut holes for ventilation and ducting. I have a feeling that as the bonnet not part of the unitary construction that it is quite free anyway.
