apologies in advance but this is going to be a noob type question as i'm trying to figure out my budget to get me car back on the road.

has anyone got a list of all the bearings and what not i need to build fresh gearbox. had a quick search which recommends not buying a rebuld kit from minispares and to buy the bits seperately but i've no idea which bits to get.

I'm planning on building my box myself from a spare 3 bolt A+ case and re-using a genuine layshaft after seeing some issues with new ones unless they have been sorted now?

I'm still undecided on the gearset aswell, i used to run a clubman kit but can't decide if its worth the extra £100 for the ST kit which includes a 1st/reverse.

don't need to factor in any diff rebuild parts as i'll be getting an ATB so just need the 2 big bearings for that right?

Cheers, Nick :)

You will be looking around the £160-£170 mark plus the vat for a rebuild kit, as for the gears that depends on the spec you decide on.
