Morning guys, driving to work this morning i found that the travel on the brake pedal was more then usual, brakes still worked. when i gave it a pump, it returned to normal and then it would fade again. i had a look cant see any fluid leaking and the master cylinder level is fine. could it be the back brakes need adjusting.replacing? im running minisport 4pots and std rear drums, with a std master cylinder. any ideas?

Most likely the rear drums need adjusting, as a test, pull on the handbrake a couple of clicks and see if the pedal travel drops, if it does then adjusting the brakes up will sort it.

It sounds like air got into your brake system, so I would try bleeding the brakes first. Rear brakes do need adjustment now and then, but this can't cause a sudden increase of brake pedal travel. |

As a rule brake fluid should be replaced every year or is it two years? How old is the fluid in your system? But go with the adjustment first. Own the day
