Are you sure you don't mean, the missing tooth appears to be present? You'd expect the missing tooth to be missing. *wink* *tongue*

Looks good, was that a dividing head jobby, or careful marking and measuring?

lol, thanks denis ,,

matt
it was turned in the lathe with a bolt to hold it through the middle ,then gripped on the outside and tuned inside diameter, then marked and drilled 36 holes ,in 3 steps ,by hand ..then turned down to the halfway point of the holes ,then deburrdd.. for some reason ,the plate was incredibly hard and took the tip off two cuttoff tools ,so then i had to taper down to the cuttoff point , it took a long time !

apparently they had 2 types of plate in the cuttoffs bin ,and i asked the chap what the hell was it made of ,cryptonite? he said well its either B plate or something ,which gets harder and harder the more you machine it ..or its brazillian plate (no ,i couldnt find any hair on it )which sems to be made of a micx if pig iron and hard steel , he said i wondered why our gillotene was jumping a bit ,this is a 6 ft huge gillotene!
