Just got back from Alan Jeffery's rolling road. My mate had a few things to get sorted on his Ibiza Cupra (214 on 8psi and not running right on a faulty MAF, i was impressed).

Anyway, there was a very nice Purple Clubby estate in there running an eaton blowing through a dellorto (im guessing 40/45M). It was a nice install and i was pretty exited about it...

Asked a few questions and it turned out to be the project of one of the employee's. He used to run it on a Roots blower which packed up on him so he's just completing the eaton install.

Still Interested!

Then i asked about the power output.....

On the old roots it was "supposed" to be 160 bannanas....then he said that with the new eaton they were hoping for 200+

I had another little look at the install...

No intercooler, what looked like a breather filter for an air filter.... i dont think 200+ is on the cards.

Im now not interested.

Just thought id share with you. Its a shame that they were so strange with the power output because it was a very very nice install.

No pictures?

As an Eaton is a roots type charger, I find it unlikely that the'll find 40bhp, as you say.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry.

interesting! I can't see 200bhp without an inter cooler at all! there's going to be so much heat in the charge. it'll be stupid. I may pop in there next week and have a look :)

Seems strange to go to all the effort then not bother with a intercooler!

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

I thought that 60% of the point of a blow through s/c was to get the intercooler in there...

That's what I'll be doing with my second attempt at FI
