im in the middle of doing lots of welding to the mingy and need to think about how to do the rear harness mounting bolts obviously need to weld plates in etc but where is the best place to fix them i was thinking at the bottom of the rear bulkhead would this be ok. i could go to the top of the bukhead/parcel shelf area if need be but i dont think this area could take much force

any pics would be really appriciated *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

i'm sure i saw somewhere that the harnesses shouldn't drop by more than 20 degrees from where they come over the seat. probably totally wrong though knowing me :)

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

Bottom of the rear seat back is fine. What year is your shell ? My shell had mounting points here already for rear seat belts, i just used these. The harnesses should be between 90 & 45 deg.

Phil.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

mine are about halfway up the bulkhead with load spreaders *smiley*

going to tie them into a rear "strut brace" between the rear shocks.
