There are three different types of daspot springs all denoted by a different colour. For those still using the old skool carb (me included) specs are as follows:-

Red N/A 4.5oz @ 1.530" part no. AUD 4355
Yellow Std. Turbo 8oz @ 1.530" part no. AUD 4398
Green Hi Boost 12oz @ 1.530" part no. JZX 1088 (same as Avonbar Hi boost spring part no. ABR-S5)

I know some of us use the Avonbar spring and some of us double up with red springs or a combo of red and yellow. Thought I'd pass on some info I found, someone might find it useful.

i've got the green spring, didnt notice any difference to the old spring, and thought it came from a montego. then again the avonbar high boost safety spring in the plenum is actually a standard montego item
