I currently have a supercharger with a suck through set up.But for obvious reason I am looking to adapt it to run a blow through with an intercooler. What are my options as far as blow through carbs go? My problem is none of the rolling road guys up here will touch SU carbs / needles! So I need to lok for an alternative that is more suitable to get set up localy! My other thought was fuel injection. But I dont have the electronic capabilities to go building an injection setup. So I need to be able to use off the shelf parts. ie I dont have the abilites to go welding up alloy injector mounts etc. But could lay my hands on a twin point inlet for example

easiest option would be to find a tuner who can work with the SU.

Findding a tuner that can do SU's would mean a long trip on a trailer for my mini. I have three proper rolling road/ tuning guys up here and none will touch Su carbs other than set the mixture! I want something a can get loked at close to home so if I go changing things around I dont have an epic journey to get it tweaked. |

Fuel injecting a 5 port mini seems to be a nightmare. I would say that it is an interesting challenge rather than a nightmare. Once the method is developed a bit further, then it will be relatively simple, but you will need fabrication and electronic skills. I can fabricate steel But alloy for mounting the injectors a whole new ballgame! As for electronics hhhmmmm have never tried that kind of soldering! Looks like I am going to be stuck with suck through On 9th Jun, 2009 Paul S said:

Why not get a wideband & do the fuelling yourself ? |

Robert Would a 40 DHLA cope with the pressure through it? Would I need to modify it? Would this be the same for a webber? As I already have a single 45 Suprlus to requirements. Phil I already have awideband in the car for keeping an eye on things. But it is tricky to do all the setting up on the road> It becomes very trial and error compared to a rolling road. |

i ran a 45 dcoe first mark , it was ok , leaks a little from the spindles bit nothing to worry about ... go for it i say !you have to make a sealed cap on the float bowwl above the jets fed with boost . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

True, there are plenty of other carb options that will handle boost.
