Hi

Anybody know the spline size of a standard mini steering rack?

I need to build a modified column so i can get the wheel in a more comfortable position so i need to get the right UJ's to fit.

I think its a 9/16" diameter with 36 splines, but if anybody can confirm that would be great.

Why cant i just leave things alone, i like to modify absolutely everything.

Thanks

Escort Mk2 UJ's are easilly available and fit.
No, I don't know the dia over pins, pressure angle or whatever of the splines, but I understand the escort UJ's fit, so hopefully this is what you really want to know.

without pointing fingers, while Marks truck was parked up at Silverstone, 'someone' broke in to it and hid a bottle of gone off milk behind the seat, then took the lid off, closed all the windows and left it to fester in the 26 degree heat. Hasn't he now gone on holiday?? it must be buzzing lol
