Trust bearing went and welded its self 2 the outer case wonder if anyone has any thoughts on why this would happen?

and is there a better bearing i can replace it withto stop this happening again cheers

You obviously havent been respecting yout trust bearing and returning its trust.

I upgraded mine to a soothsayer bearing and have never looked back.

mine did something like that we had to get it off with a hammer and cheisel (dont ask was 4am!) and the guy i work with recons something was getting hot and causing the casing to dig into the bell housing, how true this is i will never know but thats the best i can do

Currently building the new engine - 1312 t25 a series!

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

this is mal adjusted so the bearing is in contact with the clutch all the time,
so as the engines reving your driving along its in contact
replace the bearing and look at your adjustment

I set the the adustment to the same as the haynes is this not right
