So its the ones made in South Africa that were made from the wrong material, Does anyone have a gasket they bought recently?
Im wondering if these new ones have Africa written on the packaging, my spare says Made by Payen, Belgium.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

Perhaps this is whats caused my cronic head gasket issues. Ill be able to tell you in a weeks time. Ive advanced my timing again. Although slightly too far pinks a tickle under load @ super high rpm circa 7800.

Did you read the link that pointed to premature failure due to the chemical cocktail of pump fuel changing?
