just wondering where you guys use gasket sealant?

i usually use it everywhere with the exception of heads and manifolds.

is it really necessary to use it? or am i wasting time and money?

best thing to use is welseal you can use it on heads and manifolds

Yeah never on cyl heads.

Welseal is the bollox though, not cheap but once on it really does seal well and doesn't leak.

Also good is Wurth black RTV silicone
