Not wanting to put a unf thread into aluminium, does anyone know if unc threaded rod ends are available? I havent been able to find any

I've not seen them. But you can get hold of some reasonable quality metric ones that are a coarser thread

I havent been able to find any Paul i wouldn't worry too much paul , what you loose in strength in the aluminium thread to gain in the rod end body by having a thicker core with fine threads and vise vrsa for course threads, i'd persomally use fine and have a stronger rod end,size for size or course |

I bought some bars from a strange company up in NY once. They were aluminium and threaded 7/16UNF if I recall correctly.. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
