i have just sold my head unit unit in my car as i never use it, so i have 150 to put back into the mini for a few mods i am aiming at the engine mainly does anyone have any ideas heres my setup:

1275cc Mpi
Lcb playmini exhaust
stage 3 head
1.5 roller rockers
mini sport fast road cam
centre oil pickup

also i have a very wierd coming from my engine when i am up in the rev range, it sounds like the tappets are really out but i have checked them and also changed the rockers themselves any ideas????

I take it the fuel system and ecu is standard?

have you checket the valve clearences correctley ?

whats your oil pressure like at those revs ?
