I just saw the membership number of one of the new members: 6461!

I guess the quality of this forum attracts quite a lot of people!

How many active users do we have??

I must admit I only found this forum recently, after years of getting frustrated at the lack of technical knowledge on tmf and other forums.

Comming on here I find all the helpful people who occasionally post decent info on tmf are infact regulars over here!

Rude as it sounds, I hope too many people don't move across though, as many a great forum has been ruined by it's own popularity!

That's the beauty of this forum though Prawn. We have the fentonator to patrol bullshit and people who will point out crap advice/ lies to help people out who don't know as much

that's a good point prawn, but there are some good mod on here, as well as main man Alex so if it does get bigger, i'm sure it will still be a nice place to visit. even if Nic is on here!

no, it is cool. most newbies come straight on and post garbage, if you are reading, when you do post it will be an informed and educated question / opinion!

I consider myself a newbie at the mo, having only been here a few months or less. I try not to post unless it's fairly helpful or at least moderately worth while!

Obviously this thread not included, and Nic's ''new look 09'' thread.

edit: I appear to have been drunkenly rambling about complete rubbish last night!

I've tried minifinity, tmf, fabmoc amongst other forums but this is the only forum I have stuck with. This forum is the best by far.

People always appreciate help & advice on here...which is rare in most walks of life.
Also, get to meet & gain, good friends.

i have access all the time, but don't always post.

Compaired to some members i have very little knowledge of cars (i just bodge my way through jobs!).

This is by far the best forum on the net though for help. You can alway bank on TM to help you out within an hour when you are in need (providing you post at a decent time)

I think that the words "obsessed" or "financially crippled" or "sad bastard" would be more appropriate than "active"
