OK, I've got no knowledge of lathes or machining in general but there are a few coming up in a local auction at the moment and thought it might be worth getting one at the right price.

Can't recall the model at the moment but they are ex local education authority so don't appear to have seen heavy use. They also appear to be 3ph as well so would need to be converted.

Anyone got any info, advice on them generally and what they might be worth?

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

My only concern about buying ex local authority stuff is that it's been used by people who don't really know what they are doing and if it's young kids, they've probably had some abuse too!
