manual boost controllers AGAIN

Hello fellas, I have had a look through the searches on this and i'm still non the wiser.

I have a pipe from the manifold (old dizzy vacuum) back to my MJ i have the T piece fitted between the compressor and actuator before the weird 2 way nipple thing but I don't get what the other pipe is that is after the nipple thing. i was told I could use this for my boost gauge but reading the posts on this i'm not sure.

block it off, it used to go to the ecu. but as its in the bin...
