Got the ancilleries and what not back on the car last night, fired her up and all i saw was white! Just thick white smoke.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

check your oil drain, on cranking you shouldnt be getting oil pissing out the turbine even if the seals are gone. imho ofcourse! turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Ahh, well when i tested the turbo to see if it was buggered, i popped my finger over the drain hole, but i would have thought the oil would have pushed my finger out of the way! Come to think of it, the oil drane is the only thing that i have changed. The car didnt smoke before i took the ancilleries off.

Not that i can see, it is slightly elaborate, with a couple of connection as it goes in through the speedo drive. Ill alter it, the turbo does have a fair amount of play in it. Up and down only! 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

The oil drain isn't under pressure, so it wouldn't push your finger off, it's only gravity drained, so needs to be as unrestrictive as possible. |

my drain went into my block on a 90 degree fitting, oil backed up and it smoked. cut an oval hole in the block and sikaflexed an angled bit of pipe in, and no smoke since .. bodge tastic, but the point is the drain needs to be very down hill and very free flowing. remember the turbo core"breaths" through teh drain too. so there has to be room for air and oil Edited by evolotion on 2nd Jul, 2009. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
