mpi windscreen - mine went last night

hi, does anyone have a spare mpi front windscreen? got a massive stone chip and cracks in mine last night on the motorway. have a non mpi screen i can use for now, but want to keep the car as it should be.


would be able to collect from mini in the park, its a big request but would be a great help to me.

try your local independant windscreen fitter - you might be surprised how little a new one might be

yeah, i got an new astra van one fitted for £75.

well worth an ask, just pop in the local garage if you cant search out an independant.

my dad knows a guy down the pub who works with automotive glass. he quoted over £200 last time it went (yes this has happened before!)

the mpi ones have green tint, are triple laminated and have a mounting point for the rear view mirror. cheers

Why not just give you insurance company a ring and say my windscreen is broken. Pay your excess and have a nice man in a van come and fit one??

the last one i got cost me £30 from ebay, the guy posted it as well. have seen them for as little as £15-£20 on there in recent months, but not willing to post. none on there at the moment though!. as mitp and castle coombe (the only other shows im going to this year) are coming up, it would be ideal if i could buy one and collect it from one of these shows. would even be willing to pay up front. i have a green tint screen(not genuine) i can use for now, but want to put the car how it should be.
