Hello,

I'd like to know if someone have already modified his connecting rods (standard metro turbo)? I think it musnt be done but why do you think about that?

I assume you're talking about the "Con Rods" ? If so i think you'll find most people use the standard items with a good balance.
You could always polish the rough casting marks out beforehand. Turbos don't generally see high RPM levels so rod failure isn't usually to common.

If you're not talking about con rods, then i guess your talking about Rod Stewart ........ lol *wink* If so i suggest listening to "Maggie May".

I have been polishing my rod for years.

I speak about con rod of course lol Sorry.
In fact I'd like to know if there is a risk in polishing a part made of forged stell.

You cannot polish tthe rod unless it is in "forged steel" mode.
