Hi,

I need a bit of advice really!

My brother bought a mini a year or so ago and we have been doing small amounts of work on it ever since spending about 2k in total including the car.

The shell is very solid, just needs some welding doing to finish it off. He also has alot of bits including seats, fibreglass boot and front, 1293 engine, fibreglass dash, electronic bike clocks, hilos, gaz shocks and £370 of brand new 12x6 wheels havnt seen daylight.

He says he doesnt have the time and doesnt really want to do it.

Really we want to minimize how much money he will lose, so do we sell it in bits or try and put it together as a rolling project for someone to buy?

Thanks

Jon

It will be worth more sold in bits sadly. This goes for a lot of modified cars, even completed ones.

IMO your always going to get more for an unfinished project if you split it.

or you could finish it and try your luck at selling it. As long as it is driveable and has a test it should sell, but for how much is anybodies guess.

Gone are the days where you can modify your car and get your money back.

You will have to split it as stated above and accumulate the funds as bits go.
