Hi,

On behalf of my brother we are breaking his mini and everything has to go!

6X12 Superlight wheels with Yoko Tyres, exactly the same as in this link:
http://www.midlandwheels.com/Shop/P-589-6-...ohama-A539.html
Not even seen the road, the tyres still have the stickers on.
£300.

Set of Hi - Los from minispares front and rear.

Set of 4 Gaz 36 pt adjustable shocks.

1293cc engine which is fairly standard apart from the bore and oversized pistons. The head has been ported and polished. £300

HIF 44 Carb in good condition £40

Front set of minispares 4 pot alloy calipers with discs, pads and braided line, done about 200 miles. £250

1988 Mini City E shell in great condition with fibreglass front.
Panels replaced include sills, floor pans, fitch panels, door steps and numerous patches. There is a little bit more welding to do on the boot but it is 95% there, comes with V5 £750 for a start.

Front subfame in great condition, can come with 998cc orginal engine, drive shafts and hubs, tie rods and bottom arms if required.

Cheers

Jon

How much do you want for the shocks? And what discs are with the 4pots Ie solid or vented and will they fit under 10's?

Hi,

The discs are solid and are 8.4" so no they wont fit under 10's.

The shocks new are £35 each new from minispares, so lets say £25 each as I say everything has only been on the car for a couple hundred miles.

Cheers

Jon

Hi there,
I am interested in the brake equipment but have a few questions, hope that's ok...

What drive flanges need to be used and are they included?
What make are the discs and are they grooved or plain?
What make are the pads?

Many thanks
Dan

Hi,

The disks just bolt on to a standard mini hub.

The disks are grooved, not sure what make the pads are but they are all from minispares so not cheap rubbish.

Cheers

Jon

Thanks Jon.

Could you email me some photos of the brake parts to "my username" at yahoo.com please?

I live in Gloucester but am headed down to Penzance on Wednesday 8th and back home on Sunday 12th. Do you think you may be able to meet me on one of the M5 junctions nearest you if I bring cash and we sort out a convenient time? Are you anywhere near the motorway - feel free to pm or email me.

Cheers
Dan

OK thanks Jon - I should have read your first post a bit better to see they were your brothere's.

I just want to see how they look and which ones they actually are. I believe some of the earlier Minispares ones (C-AJJ4022) overhang the discs whereas by a 1/4" or so on the outside and the later ones (the 4023's) do not. Do you know which he has?

He bought them roughly 8-9 months ago, so would this make them new/or old.

Will get the pics up 2mro if thats ok?

Jon - no problem.

I had confused myself a little there by listening to someone else's advice!!! The 4023's are the S versions. :) The 4022's all have that overhang so no problem.

Last question - do you (or your brother) know if they'll fit under the 12" rims?

I'm still headed to Cornwall on Wednesday night and coming back Sat or Sunday. I'm happy to meet if we can arrange it but would your brother be ok to post them if we can't arrange to meet?

Cheers
Dan

Hi,

Yeah they will definately fit under 12" rims as that is the set up i have.

He is not going to be coming down at the weekend but if you want his paypal address etc I will get him to post them to you.

Postage, lets say £20 to cover costs and if it is any less we can refund.

Cheers

Jon
