Should be a one-way valve attached, and as far as I can tell from peering at the ERA minis website, the one on top goes to the breather system . There should be a red lump of plastic with assorted pipes that go to the breathers on the timing housing and the flywheel housing, and the other outlets go to the air intake and that lump on the top of the inlet manifold.
Any use?

Go buy yourself a Metro Haynes manual

It contains a schematic of how to connect up all hoses and breathers to do with the metro turbo engine.

i think thats a feed to a breather pipe, which acts through a pressure controlled valve, so when your at idle it can breath, but when on boost it can't

Every other person on here has managed to get a Metro manual, available from any halfords store, or from ebay, or amazon, and do some research and figuring out for themselves, why not try it rather than CONSTANTLY ASKING QUESTIONS IN BLOCK CAPITALS IN AN ARSEY TONE.

if your not going to use the standard turbo breather system, use the little k&n type ones. then you can take out the valve that sticks up and either plug it use the hole in the bolt for something else( dump valve pipe) or i used a normal aspirated bolt with no hole in.

p.s everyone who uses this site WILL offer lots of help when you ask UNLESS you start being a muppet (not calling you one!!). the haynes manual is available from any halfords stores(will need to answer it though) and to be honest you cant build or maintain a mini turbo without one, its a must!!

have you got a digicam if so post a pic with an arrow pointing to pipes etc and try and work some stuff out for your stuff out for yourself youll learn more that way.*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
