is the best turbo a Renault 5 spec T2 Turbo, hybrid T2 Turbo,hybrid T25 Turbo out of mirage and is the mirage exhaust kit any good

How long is a piece of string? WHat do you want the car for, what spec is the engine, capacity, the questions are endless.

How much power do you want?

Unfortunately its not as simple as which is the best turbo, although if you have a choice a newer GT series will be more effficient.

well just for shows and track days and the engine is a completly standard engine but which need the most less mods to the engine

minimadmick, this is like saying 'whats the best cam'

its not a case of 'the best' its getting one that will work with your engine spec/application.

without sounding like an arse, dont be a lazy fucker, and use the search button or youll soon find people on here will lose patience with you

It’s a question I have seen receive the most passionate response on this forum and the answer still alludes me. For my own point of view my engine set-up with a T3 will be producing boost from as low down as 2500 rpm and that’s on a standard (very tired) 1275cc Turbo motor. I know it produce 28psi of boost and with the bleed valve can cruise at what amount of boost takes my fancy.

If you can control the turbo to give you the sort of performance you want when you want it does it matter what turbo you choose so long as it doesn’t run out of puff and doesn’t take an eternity to spin up?

it matters big time. i didnt choose a turbo that doesnt hit full boost(19 psi at the time) untill 5500rpm for no reason. now with cams and even more boost thats shifted further up the rev-range!

your right this is a very "passionate" subject, because it can be quite a personal and also very complicated one.

I just wrot exactly what Denis did, but my computer went funny.

If it's just for show, the mirage install is easier as there are no body mods required. With a CR of 9:1 you'll have a car that drives well. And if you limit the boost to less than 10 then you wouldn't even need an IC.
