Force Racing ICT Dept Manager Miglia Turbo Am frum Yokshyer tha noes!

What cars are these on as standard? And does anyone have any experience with them? I have plans of having some manifolds and a downpipe made up after Avon and was hoping to run a dump pipe out the bonnet.

Ive heard the 25s are a little too big, ive tried reading a compressor map but my brain started to dribble out of my nose.

The 22 is a good choice for higher boost with great efficiency.

I think you'll find them on certain wiesel vans. Some of the bigger ones though! Movano/Master type size.

I can't remember if it is the Movanos/Masters that they come on but its that type.

Im debating going gt25 to go for a ball bearing core. Its hardly going to be a road friendly motor but i'll have to do some more map reading and research before then. Ive got plently of time!!

The GT2252 looks a good choice for a high boost 1275.

The GT2259 is not so good.

I'm using a GT2056 on the Miglia:

The GT2056 flows a little bit more and should be good for over 250hp, in theory.

The GT2056 is found on Renault vans, not sure about the 22s.

I may end up sticking with the 17 as it does the job nicely, i just fancied having a nice shiny pipe poking out of the bonnet!

John i know a place near me who do them!

The 20 looks like a hard one to find! Is the flange the same as the 17 then?

The 20/22 flange is the same as the T2/T25 with the square ish hole, whereas the 17 has the round hole.

Bolt patterns are all the same for T2/T25/GT17/GT20/GT22.

I'm going to buy the whole garrett GT range, and test them on the same engine, on dyno each one, then move on to turbo's from other makers, I'll post all the results when done.

All this as soon as I've won the lottery.

Speaking of GT2056, I noticed one lying around in work last time I was in. I doubt it came off a diesel van if we had it though. Bastards now have me thinking about turboing the E30

We'll see if I can nab it during the week. I'll be calling in to collect parts at the end of the week. You'll have to persuade me to leave the beemer NA first though *happy*

haha, they'll be fine with it on the plane! slip it into someone elses bag for the flight!

turboing the beamer is a bad idea, i've heard the wheels fall of and you crash and die if you turbo them, best to just give me the turbo to save yourself from injury...
