What a wank week, I am sure there's forces from a higher plane determined to make my life a fucking nightmare.
Firstly my tuning guy rings my up and tells me they can't fit me in as their dyno man is ill.....Bollocks number1

Rang MBE in Lincoln he couldn't fit me in but arranged for me to go to his partner at GG Motorsport in Lincoln... Yeah get in..

Set off to Lincoln this afternoon, mini on the Aframe. Sorted!

7 miles down the fucking road I came on to a round about approaching it at about 10mph and would you fucking beleive it, the car and the A frame decided to go seperate ways and jack-knifed smack bang accross both lanes of the R/A also blocking the other entry onto the R/A. luckily no major damage to either vehicle, if there's anyone from Notts council reading this FOR FUCK SAKE SORT IT OUT BEFORE SOMONE DIES. It's just a piss poor road surface covered in grease and water. Unhitched the mini cleared the road rehitched and off I went again. Bollocks number 2

Got to the RR a little late but intact, The chap rigged it up on the rollers, ran a few test runs, identified the car was running very lean, removed the needle ,gave it a clean and pooped it back in.
Fueling was still lean at low revs but ok-ish mid and high car was boosting at around 5psi and things were looking good.

Then. Bollocks number 3 the RR guy took the car further up the rev range then a high pitched noise that sounded like a tight fart came from under the bonnet and all boost vanished. Not wanting to cause anyfurther damage the chap ended the session and advised me to check the turbo / wastegate and when sorted give him a call to rebook.

I have no problem with the RR operator and I thought he was great and willing to talk you through everthing he was doing. But to say i'm pissed off is the understatement of the year.


I'm not gonna make it this weekend and i've been gearing up now for 6 months..

Wet fart noise followed by no boost sounds like it could be a pipe popped off, do you have an IC?

I seriously doubt it!

I agree check the pipe work. We had a maestro turbo that required you to keep a screwdriver in the car because it kept blowing pipes off. High pitch fart and no boost.
