hi all im from cornwall and im currently repairing/preparing my first mini. its a 86 mayfair which i bought with 8 months mot thinking it would be great to have some fun with. it turned out to be professionally bodged by the previous owner so i have a lot of bodywork to do before its ready. i got a metro turbo engine given to me in complete bits which i am currently gradually building up, hopefully with a little help from you guys the two will meet somewhere to make a great car.

Talk about jumping in at the deep end from a great height head first with lead ballast strapped to you.

thanks guys, im afraid im already addicted and just wish i had more time to work on the machine. im in bodmin, hoping to have the engine together and in the car before the end of the summer.
