Have a good day, I am off to Mallory on sunday.

Had a look in the shed last night for some knobblys just in case it snows again though.......have a couple on rims that will do for the front, the back will have to make do with road tyres.....

I've decided I must be barking mad!

6am I'm scraping the ice off the transit and heading off to a track day at silverstone! Still, I got up there and its not raining.... but the track is covered in ice, there where marshalls out with huge blow torches melting the ice!!!!!

Track time started at about 9.30 by which time I was ABSOLUTLY FREEZING!

An boy did my little mini fly! Lots of freezing cold, slightly damp air really helpped the performance.

By lunch time I'd done 5 gallons of fuel and 40 odd miles!! I think the best bit was out dragging an M3 E30 after he had a slight tank slapper and then missed a gear on the main stright with everyone watching from the pits... he even was being professionally vodeo'd as well!!!

Sadly it rained after lunch and my car doesn't like the wet... no LSD and fwd gets a bit silly, I was lurching from one side of the track to the other down the main st8 as the boost kicked in!!

And it still chatters a treat

only a couple... was too cold and for a change the car was running well so I spent a fair amount of time either on track or getting ready to go out *happy*
