I'm building a turbo mini and i've managed to get hold of a couple
of turbo's, both of the turbos have actuators but they have different numbers on them!!!
430 099 19
430 099 22 are the numbers on the side, is there any difference?

If i pull on the actuator rod, the actuator with the 19 at the end of the number is harder to pull!

Does this mean it is going to be better for running higher boost or is it better to use the other actuator!?

Im not sure if these numbers make the actuators different or if one is harder to pull because it is less worn?

any help would be greatly appreciated,

cheers

The item with the stronger spring will hold the waste gate shut for longer so giving you more boost through the rev range. Look into example engine builds as you don't want to go blowing the thing up first trip out!

Check your CR-compression ratio.

Is it going to be intercooled?

Follow some basics and don't run before you can walk!

Cheers for your help mate, im not what my compression ratio is at the moment as my head has had some work done on it. i've just finished fitting some 1293 low compression pistons so they should help lower the CR a fair bit.

I will intercool it eventually, but im going to get it running right first.

I,ve built a turbomini before but i though all the standrd actuators would be the same!
