Hi, just joined up yesterday eve after meeting a few of you at the showdown. thought it'd be a good idea to sign up since i'm considering going down the turbo route with my car 8-)

here's just a couple of the latest ones, taken just after i fitted the 7" wheels (usually run 13x8 ET-10, which you'll see in the diary... these ones are a bit more understated!)

i have to admit, the number plate has taken quite a beating there! i've actaully removed it all together now (but it will be going back on asap... honest officer!).

I know a couple Pauls around the swindon/wiltshire area... would this be a Paul B****** by any chance?

i dont know his second name lol, i will ask him :)

Really wanting to get the car running decently and then add some more power soon. I've never had the car tuned and the MS has never, and still doesn't read any engine temp as i has issues from the very start (which i've resolved this evening... after 5000 miles and one year of driving it like that)

Still rolling roaded at 165hp and that was before the custom made trumpets were added. I've also assembled my own nitrous kit and fitted that, still not used it though as reluctant to run it through and engine that wasn't being managed 100% properly (although it's a solid motor that i fully rebuilt myself about 3000 miles ago).

I'm ordering an LSD at the end of the month, and going to see how quick it feels once thats fitted and the MS is running right. Hoping to be on the MiniWorld stand at Castle Combe (which reminds me... need to call them up to confirm that!!) so will see how it performs around the track.

Then over winter i plan to take it apart again and make a few performance orientated changes... which MAY have something to do with why i joined this forum hehe

how's the bonnet, looked a bit cracked? hope its fixable? glad to see it on here, lovely car!

the bonnet isn't too bad. definately fixable, just a few cracks which should be easy to repair. wasn't the best end to the day for me that's fore sure but hey ho! still a great fun weekend!

Good question Phil! When Joel drove my 1380 A-series he seemed annoyed that it wasn't 'more shit'
