does anyone run their coolant pipes to the turbo from the heater take off? My heater is going anyway and i would like to maintain the flow across the head. Im thinking of returning back to the bottom hose somewhere, does anyone have a setup like this or tried anything different?

Mine's in line after the heater. If the heater was removed it would just be between the heater take off on the end of the head and the bottom hose. |

so phil does that mean that if you have your heater valve shut like on a hot day to stop the hot air from your heaters that you get no coolant to the turbo? or have i misread?

I don't have a heater valve, it's just a pipe, so permanently open. The water just helps to keep the Turbo core cooler. |

I put a block where a pipe comes out under the heathertap. So the turbo is always cooled and i still can use the heather. The return goes the bottomhose near the waterpump. Edited by paneermeel on 16th Jul, 2009. there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.
