Chaps, im contemplating have a dump pipe sticking out the bonnet on my car. Having never heard one i dont know how loud they are, are they ridiculously loud and silly for road/strip car???
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Yep lol, im on the lookout for another Turbo. Possibly a T25 or a Gt20

They are loud as hell and if your mini is anything like mine its never off boost so as a road car it would be a nightmare! |

I doubt thats needed on your car, just rebuild the gt17 properly, i.e with a thicker thrust pad etc so you can run more boost safely, get it all balanced and it will be more than beauticious! "Cars are a lifetime of pain" |

dont bother, loud as hell, greif with the law as mentioned, and not to mention they jsut get annoying after the novelty wears off. Put simply if you go on boost, everyone within earshot will look, that includes the law turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Righhht, that puts that silly idea out of my mind, Ill get myself a new 17 i think.
