well the last couple of weeks have been a nightmare, almost everything i have touched i've fucked up....

the wake of things have inexplicably gone wrong in my immediate location include the works phones, various printers, computers cats (yes the feline kind), loads of jobs at work, and stuff being returned en mass...

after an unexplaned flat tyre on the missus fiat, and the starter dieing I mad ethe fatal decsion to top the oil up....

it was well low (off the bottom of the dipstick) so i stuck in the remains of an old can i had in the garage, probably about a litre, then the missus came out with an unopened 2litre can, so i stuck that in too, 3 litres will be ok i thought, bit high but its leaking anyway...

she broke down on the way to work the next morning, when i took a look, it had sucked a load of sump oil into the intake and filled the cylinders.... it was a 4 litre can not 2, so i'd stuck in 5 litres ontop of what was in there.

Fuck it!

How about (moron)^2 for missing Avon to go to a music festival.

not yet,

i'm going to take some time of work start of aug sort out a few niggles like the intermitant misfire its got and then go to the rollers with a spare head gasket.

from the way it trys to brake traction though t must be putting out a fair bit, shane is probably best to give an idea as he can compare mine on a bar to his on a bar.

Thats a difficult one answer! Yes it has a lot of power, and the delivery of it is insane. It does seem faster than mine, but could be down to tourqe and gearing rather than Hp? mine is powerfull but gives smooth delivery, yours is as I said when we went out in it, "like driving an asbo!" Get it on the rollers man!!!

very true,

although i think the gearings pretty similar between ours, your on a 3.1 CWP right?

i guess yours is a bit heavier.

Mine is a lard ass compared to yours! Im running a 3.2 diff. the other thing I thought of it could be, is your using metro hubs which if you have poor geometry settings, may promote the loss of traction give a faulse impression on its power?
On the other hand I could be spouting shit!?

Not a debate, just food for thought. Have thought about it in depth lately due to converations I have had with other members lately. I run fully adjustable arms rods and brackets on my car, set to the usual benchmark settings and dont suffer the torque steer that some of the cars of members on here that I have driven or been passenger in, that dont have adjustable, only fixed. Admittadly the other cars have been t3 powered which as I commented earlier about the way the power is delivered, it may be mine is just too girly?
Hope that made sense?

Fair comment Tom, as Joe is running a set of 13's, but do believe a good setup always helps.

I'm sure your both right,

my tracking deffo needs redoing front and back, plus your 12's will have about an inch less offset than my rims.

plus 175's on 7" rims are diabolical according to evo,
