CWP choice

Morning all,

I know this subject has been raised before, but I need some help choosing a CWP.

I have a 160BHP 1293 turbo I currently run a 3.7:1 and while it a blast up the lanes and A roads, it rev's is nuts off up the motorway, and do a fair bit of M'way driving to work, consiquently I rearly use the car during the week. I was thinking about a 2.9:1, but I don't want it to become too slow out of corners etc, so would a 3.1:1 be a better choice?

Oh, nearly for got, its on 10"s with a H/C box.

Also, has anyone made any headway with injection for the A series turbo, I know one company that are currently developing a wet manifold type system, anyone else got any advice, info etc, or is it best to stick with SU and get a programable ignition??

H/C box?? Has it been helicoiled?

just out of interst what boost are you running to make160bhp/

I'd say 3.7 is too low for a turbo...

The pull so well because of all that torque that a taller diff works better in most cases!

I run a 3.2 on 13s (std metro config!)

But IIRC 3.44 works well on 10s

160 bhp and 165lbs torque is a 1bar. Got a standard actuator (4.5psi) gonna uprate it in the new year, wind the boost up a tad...!
