I have the same, from the same eBay supplier, and although I doubt it's genuine Bosch, it's more than up to the job for my fuel injection project - I need 3bar (45psi) and it delivers that easily with the correct regulator.

The only issue with lower pressure systems (ie, carb) is whether your return line is big enough to keep the pressure down.

Could this be why there where ran at 9v on the metty turbo?

Just make sure you put a filter between it and your tyank, aparently they don't like any muck at all
