I have a DAB radio, but reception is so rubbish at my house that it's un-listenable.

It seems that a Wi-Fi radio may be a solution to enable me to listen to 6-music in the kitchen, but not sure where to start. Anyone point me in the direction of some information on them, or have personal experience?

Cheers

I'll have a go tomorrow, it's a bit wet outside now.

Have you tries searching on the internet. What I did was type "wireless radio" into a search engine. I used Google which is quite good, but others are available. It then told me stuff about wireless radios.

Anyway I found this, which is what you might have found if you could have been arsed.

We also have poor DAB reception for our (one and only) digital radio, but we get very good freeview reception, all available channels and the 700 series (about 20 radio channels) includes BBC6 music.

So if you had a small digital TV, or just a freeview tuner, you could receive it that way - unless your freeview reception is also crap.....

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Thanks very much. I did find a few thigs like the link, but wanted something more than that really. Like an overview of the way it works, is it any good, should I buy one?

I guess I'll just have to be the TM pioneer.

I have a Pure Evoke Flow. Good piece of kit, but the menus are a bit clunky. When used in conjunction with the website it is easy to select radio stations from around the world and save them as favourites on the radio itself. You can also select podcasts from the BBC and use the BBC radio iplayer's play again function direct from the radio.
