Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Right the front is the Z cars subby thingy with protech coilover shocks.

The rear is bare at the minute. It has a new rear subby fitted and i'm trying to decide what to do at the back.

arches are tubbed, but not cut to accept normal coilovers. The cage comes through the bulkhead to the tops of the rear arches, and arches are tidied to each other side to side so no strength issues on the body.

So i have a choice of offset protechs to match the front, or going with rubber cones, hi-lo's and some sort of rear shocks.

Any ideas? i've only ever used cones etc.

I'm swaying towards the offset coilovers for ease of getting it all fitted, and by the time i've bought cones, hi-los and shocks money is similar.

thanks *happy*

yeah i guess i could do, but that will come with time, i dont think its a bad thing having a little weight in the back end.

i was hoping most people say coilovers as its the easy option! *happy*

Yes coilovers , but id do some re search into the standard ones if thats what your thinking.

You could do with some soft lb rear springs or it will just bounce round corners, i dont no if it will work this way but if the front is loads heavyer than standard will it make the rear seam lighter ??

Having driven cars with frotn coils/rear donuts, and the other way round, I think it feels really unbalanced, they both work in different ways, so it just feels odd.

If you've got coilovers on the front, I'd match it on the back with the protechs.

Turretting would be nice to avoid offset pins, but if the cage works stop that, I'm sure offset would be OK.
