as i need to take off the head i will be needing a new head gasket. i remember reading something on here a bit ago about a dodgy batch of head gaskets. i have tried the search but cant find it. anyone know what to avoid??

you want a bk450 or af470 which is made in the uk On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

just rang unipart. £35 plus vat for the gasket.

No way, when I found the Unipart one was the same as the AF470 (it's actually stamped Payen AF470) and made in the UK a few weeks ago and posted it on here, it was about £12 inc VAT.. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
