hi just wandering what clutch you guys think is best keep hearing all kinds of crap abouut orange this and grey that, it needs to be suitable for the road and traffic unfortunately cheers |

Depends what kind of power output you're expecting ? Standard Verto item will cope with standard power levels and a little more, otherwise you'll need to change to the older Lockheed type and use a progressivley stronger diaphragm the more Torque your engine produces. Grey diaphragm and rally/race plate are a popular choice and will handle 150 ft/lb or so .....

The Lockheed clutch was fitted to the "non A+" stuff. But you can still buy all the parts for the Lockheed clutch from Minispares etc If you can't find a secondhand item.
