hi i really need this asap, any type of t2 that will fit the mg metro turbo engine with the mirage motorsport kit, cheers

Hello there, i recently contacted mirage motorsport regarding what turbo's their kits use, and its either a T2 Renault 5 unit, or a T25 Nissan Silvia. Apparently the turbo's vary quite alot from car to car.

I think the serial number for a water cooled turbo is:
466196-0001/2 and its a TB0203

and I think the air cooled turbo is:
430609-0030 and its also a TB0203

If you do some searches on the above serial numbers you should find some link to renault 5/turbo websites

which is best , air cooled or water cooled?
