Hi peeps, i'm after a sealed beam unit for a lucas ft6. 5 3/4 inch fog lamp, it needs to have LUCAS set in a rectangle in the centre of the lens, I have tried to get the original part number and I reckon it is 54522163. I only need the lens so if anyone has a good un in a rusty, scabby, bent or knackered old holder please give me a shout and i'll talk £'s with you.
Cheers.

Andy.

These ARE like rocking horse shit mate.

Luckily, I have these on the van and have accumlated a load of spare FT and LR spares.

PM me a photo of your old one and I'll see if I have an exact spare for you, assuming I have enough to keep for myself.

Ok mate.

Well done. Top idea.

Anyways, I do have some spare FT6 fog & LR9 spot 5 3/4 in sealed beam units and Lucas chrome housings if you need any in the future.

Modern Halogens would be far far far better unless its for a 100% genuine restoration.

Std mini lights really are crap.

These aren't the 7 in headlights Stevie (for which I totally agree with you - Halogen is best), these are the smaller auxiliary 5 & 3/4 in circa 1960/70's Lucas sealed beam long range spot and fog lights.

Found out Mazda and Ring make 5 & 3/4 sealed beam units that can be adapted if spare originals cannot be sourced.
