*Rofl!* the turbo with the air filter covering the exhaust sides cunning, i seem to remember an issue of ppc where some guy had spent a LOT of cash on a car, and taken it to dave walkers rollers with the turbo sucking air out of the engine when it came on boost :$

i remeber reading the build diary for this. the turbo was here as the guy wanted to expereiment with very long primarys on a turbo application, so he got a 4-1 honda manifold and basically turned it upside down. aparently it worked well!

I remember reading the forum topic about this very turbo. Quite amusing to hear the blokes reasoning behind it, ignoring the fact that they spin anywhere up to and over 100,000 rpm *laughing*

The bloke did actualy put this on his car and use it; Not for long!!

The theory behind it was that he had a turbo, but it was too big, so thought that by blocking off some of the blades it would reduce its capacity *laughing*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
