RX7 turbo.....is it ok?

Hey every one, i got myself a twin turbo system off an RX7 and split the two turbo's, im hoping to be running the best of the two unless anyone has any warnings about doing it, i havn't herd of anyone using a RX7 turbo on a mini so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks a stack!

i don't know, thats the problem, all i know is that they came off a stock RX7, it's a pritty small turbo, would posting a picture help?

serial number would help a lot, and the if you know the make too

or year of the Rx7 it came off?

it has 41202 printed on the side of it, is that any help? sorry, i dont have much of an idea when it comes to turbo models or designs. thnx again

i was speaking to someone and they had found out that 1 or the turbos off a trwin turbo mitsibushi was ideal for the mini (i think it was that car) bt it would have been alot of effort to make up mounting plates

i dont mind the work, as long as it is do-able then i'm happy, thanks for all your help

I'd have thought they'd have a very large turbine housing, being off a rotary... You need to find out the A/R.
Try mailing Matt Woods (miniwilliams) and ask him if he can find anything out about them - his mate has one of the most powerfull RX's in the country...

the turbine itself is actualy pritty small, i think its because of the twin turbo set up.
i ended up taking it to the local turbo specialist and i told him the aplication and the sort of performance i was looking for and he said that it was a great size for the engine!! (i had the turbo fully chekd for play while it was in there and it was fine).

so im guna give this turbo a go and if its sucessfull ill let you all know, if not it looks like santa is guna have to go to a jap dismantler! (the two turbos were only $100aus so it might be a cheap way out for some one in the future).
