Couldnt decide what dash to go for so thought id have a go at making my own, and have to say i am pleased with the result.
Not sure about the gauges yet but will do for now. its made from thin sheet of mdf, covered with some laminate flooring insulation stuff, then covered with some leather cloth. whole thing cost me about £12...... bargain

Also made a heat shield at work from stainless steel, to try and keep the temps down.This will be covered with some heat proof mat also. Its basically just a copy of the tatty fibre glass one, fits nice tho, well happy with it to be honest.

sheild looks great too, the material looks quite thick tho.
