tdc is as the name suggests 'top dead centre' so right in the middle......
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

with no 1 (or 4) at tdc the mising tooth should be at the top (12 oclock) and the sensroe should be at the front of the engine (9 oclock looking at the pully)

it doesnt have to be at 9 as such, but the sensor needs to see the missing tooth 90 deg before the engine see tdc.
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

my sensor is mounted 90degrees before true TDC so my missing tooth will be at 12o'clock (True TDC).
