Working up the BHP ladder.

OK i had a search and can't find it?
The missing notch is TDC no problem there, but is TDC the falling edge, rising edge or in the middle?

Cheers

Not very sunny swanage

tdc is as the name suggests 'top dead centre' so right in the middle......

also, i doubt your notch wants to be at tdc, it needs to line up with your crank sensor 90 deg before the engine is at tdc iirc........

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

with no 1 (or 4) at tdc the mising tooth should be at the top (12 oclock) and the sensroe should be at the front of the engine (9 oclock looking at the pully)

if it a few deg out it dosent matter, it can be trimmed in the softwase with a timing light.

it doesnt have to be at 9 as such, but the sensor needs to see the missing tooth 90 deg before the engine see tdc.

Working up the BHP ladder.

my sensor is mounted 90degrees before true TDC so my missing tooth will be at 12o'clock (True TDC).
In the center it is then.
Cheers
