Turbo Mini Forums

Well chaps I am back, nice to see the place is still here as well as a few old faces such as Alex, Dave, Jim, Carl, Nic, Moose etc. Well after a while of messing about with Elise’s etc, I have finally come back into the mini fold.

Quite a few things seem to have changed, Avon times have fallen there now some really quick, a series turbo car out there and by all accounts Jims to the 16v Turbo monster working (well done :- ) ) and things have'nt Nic is still the site perv.

Looks like my initial plans for fastest mini in the world are going to put on hold indefinitely after a quick look around the site, so I will outline my plans here, as its probably as good as any.

I am probably going to attempt to build a fast road/track day mini (some of you will have heard that before.), in a clubman shell. About 140 bananas should do the trick (if times have not moved on that much?) , and enough curlywhirlys to drag is down the ¼ of a mile in the 15s.

Apart from that the rest is pretty much undecided apart from the fact it’s going to have a series of some description under the bonnet

Now the only a few issues to sort out. Like aquiring said clubman

Well dave, I did its about 3 1/2 years since i last posted. The draw of tracking an elise etc was to good to resist at the time.

Now I have returned to the fold. I see you litterly have left for the US. Can't say I blame you. :), also see you have a nice range of tuning parts. All being well once i start my project a few $ will be heading your way
