Thought I'd share this with you guys. A proper piece of old school car exotica.

A good friend of mine managed to borrow a set of keys for this the other evening.

We had 10 minutes of shear fun. Then had to give it back. Notice car door still open and car still cooling down. *wink*

O and its for sale to 85k and its yours.

Just happens to belong to a Mr David Sutton well to be correct his wife Anna.

You should see what this man’s garage is full off. I'll take more pics next time I'm down there.

Si

I drill holes in everything..!

I doubt it was one like that! That is a short Quattro! Oh dear I have just soiled myself thinking about it!

My Dad had a road Quattro and sold it to buy a Citroen BX *Shooting*

I was going to suggest someone beat you but then in your defence you are probably too young to know! He was the leading private rally team running everything from Mk2 Escorts to Quattros in the 1970-80s. Probably the equivalent of M Sport now

Who is M Sport you ask *Shooting*

Hahahaha

One of my best friends from school goes out with Russell Brookes' daughter. I wouldnt say he has that strong an interest in cars but he has been taken out in a genuine Group B rally car by him on a rally stage...the swine!!!!

He did say the mini felt more dangerous though

My Dad has had an Audi Quattro since about 1987. In about 1994 he got another later 20v one (same shape) and so his original 10v has been destined to be cut in half and shortened by about 10 inches ever since. Whether he will ever actually get it done I don't know, but that is his plan......

I believe that was called an Evolution 2 or something similar, 600-odd bhp, and full aero kit.
