I did a search, but couldn't find the answer.

My clutch doesnt throw quite far enough, the slave is only using half its travel. I remember reading about people lengthening the pushrod that fits into the slave;

1) has anyone any pics of doing this
2) is it possible to use something to space the pushrod further out?

both of these seem like kind of a bodge, but I can't wait to get it moving under its own steam.

i think there's still a manifold nut in my slave spacing it out although i have got a nice bling longer pushrod that wolfie gave me a few years ago.

You might also need to look at your clutch pedal pushrod. If your clutch pedal is more than 1/2" below the brake pedal (many are a lot more than this) then you're wasting travel here.

I've lengthened at least three pedal pushrods in the past to get round this.

lovely thank you dave. also going to check the slave cylinder as it seems to be sticking a little
