do you mean the hole the speedo cable runs through? are you not going to use a cable? i do quite a few motorway miles myself and decided to fit a load of sound deadening carpet etc but to no avail! still sounds like a tank no matter what you do, is fine up to about 40 mph but avove that is crap if you find a way let me know to!! |

There is a std blanking plate that goes over that hole anyway with a grommet in for the cables to pass through.

cant you just make a plate and then put some sealant around it to keep the gases out, then its there just incase you need it (though i cant see why you would ever) |

you can mate, there is a std part though that you can get. not sure why they all didnt have it. or whether they used to get removed or something. just holds in with self tappers. |
